Day 167 - Summer Shandy

Another friday night spent at friday night live in downtown Herndon rocking to the tunes of Love-Seed Momma Jump.... The great name aside, they play an entertaining mix of songs, but that also means a night of Bud Light. I almost just blogged on that, but then came up with a great idea. Why not break out the frube...

So, a lemon-flavored beer. Absolutely, totally, without any reservation, nasty stuff. Still, not only do I get it out of the pipeline, but Cullen happened back home after maybe 3 oz and was willing to take on the final consumption, so I don't feel pressure to drink it or bad about dumping it down the drain... All in all, a good night (ok, except for the fact that it included Bud Light again...)

So, absolutely nothing redeeming about this beer at all. No alcohol, no real beer taste, nothing. Go ahead and drink one if you like frube's, but don't hold me accountable. I'll soon be at the half way point. Going to have to get a special one for that, but until then, back to the beer store to replenish the pipeline this weekend.
