Day 264 - Alhambra

Staying overseas tonight, but shifted south and to the dark side. Hey, it's Thursday, and ok to be a bit W&C...

So, another black lager. and well, it's black. It's a lager, so that means the hops is m.i.a. What's left is dry malty sweetness. This one reminds me of a politician, all sweet with no substance...

Specs:

Full Name: Alhambra Negra
Brewed by: Grupo Cervezas Alhambra
From: Spain
ABV: 5.4%

All in all, the bottle is still empty and I'm feeling it wasn't bad. It was pointed out that imported beers must be pasteurized, so that impacts the flavor. Going to be tough to make that comparison, but perhaps the opportunity will present itself.

Cheers.

  1. I have been to La Alhambra. It is a very cool building with wonderful gardens. Without trying to sound too depressing or wistful, Mom would have been glad to know you tried this one. She loved La Alhambra.
