Finally made it to the store to replenish the pipeline, though a day late...The second by this brewer, and purchased for the name as Liz found it humorous. Alas, it is too heavy on the sweet malt for my general taste, though the deep amber brown color is nice and the ABV is above average...

Even though the label with two rams smashing horns and cracking rock smacks of high testosterone, this beer is really for the more genteel I think. Don't get me wrong, it is full of flavor which I applaud, but it is a bit over the top, the way a dessert wine can be. Perhaps this is a dessert beer....
