Day 138 - Best Brown Ale

Another amazing sunset tonight, after a grey rainy morning. This beer is kind of the opposite, starts off well and then ends kind of weak.

The brownish red color is nice enough, and the initial malty ale taste is good, but then it drifts off into nothing, instead of lingering on the taste buds making you want more. This is a true made for the masses beer, as it does have some taste, but not too much to distract you. It isn't that it is bad, it just isn't great, but maybe could be.

Specs:

Full Name: Gritty's Best Brown Ale
Brewed by: Gritty, McDuff's Brewing Co
From: Portland ME
ABV: (unknown - not on bottle or website)

This brewer has a number of interesting options, but lacks a palie. Overall, it seems Portland is a microbrewery mecca, which means no going there lest I never come out... ;>)

BTW, I am still open to some recommendations/suggestions. Time for any readers to be proactive and not reactive!
